The aim of this course, is to provide a state of the art overview of current and emerging technologies in light of the 4th industrial revolution. The goal is to inform and inspire future industrial designers by providing an overview of emerging technologies and the opportunities they offer for future society. This technology is characterized by the ever-thinning boundary between physical, digital and biological spheres. How is this (by now ubiquitous) technology embedded in products, society and even the human body?
